No - it is only one - THis photo was taken around May June time I think. Have you any idea what type of clematis it is? I have about half a dozen where I have lost the labels and not made a note of their names.
I really need to try and organise myself a bit better !

I'm not familiar with many plants...I almost know the difference between a weed and a plant (just a newbie here) but I can point you to the GOYpedia at the bottom of every page. If you look under "C" for clematis you'll find photos of several clematis and also if you are still puzzled seek out KarenSusan (do a google search at the top right of the page). She has a lot of clematis and may be able to identify this one for you, Janque.
I wish I could be more help to you. You could also put up a question asking for help in identification (with photos)....so there's lots of help here for you :)

At least you almost know the difference between a weed and a plant! I know there are so many experts on this site and should really get organised with my photos and start to make notes of what I've got
Thank you for your help - by the way I notice you are from Merseyside. Which side of the river are you on? I am originally from Prenton in Birkenhead

We're on the other side of the Mersey...although I am Canadian by birth and lived in UK since 1983, Janque. You I note are living in Somerset...it was originally our plan to settle in the south and we did consider the area around Frome, Somerset (my hubby's sister lives there) but we stayed here where my husband grew up until he emigrated to Canada in 1966.
Recently retired newsagents and eager to take up gardening and sorting out our back garden....we all have to start somewhere....and GOY has lots of help. So glad I found this website. Enjoy discovering your garden, Janque.
Did you manage to find out about your clematis by the way?

I have just looked at your blogs and photos and you really have your work cut out! Although it is quite exciting to design the garden from scratch, it can also feel quite daunting - not to mention expensive!
You're quite right, GOY has been so helpful and I love spending time just reading all the questions and blogs. No - not done anything about the clematis as i need to work out how to upload the photo in a question!
