I dug it up earlier in the year Dd because it didn't look very healthy , split it to make two plants and this is what happened .... it prompted it to flower , it's actualy been in flower for some time .....Lucky !

at the end of the season the flower head can be dried. I've used them (spray painted) in a couple of Christmas arrangements.. I like the foliage too...and it should spread (or at lease enlarge) I have a clump which needs dividing ...for the third time... wonderful plants.
