Still filled with blooms and foliage, and we are waiting to plant bulbs of "Fortune" and "Golden Ducat" daffodils in it. :-))

Does it take you long to find the appropriate plants for the theme of your garden? Its surprised me how many are suitable!! and that chest looks glorius!

Many Thanks, all! This "feature" surpassed our expectations. :-))

No, doesn't take long to find suitably-named plants, and source most, online, Sk. Am also always grateful to Goyers, like yourself, for ideas. You, of course, brought my attention to Bidens "Pirates Pearl", which I sent for. It was a bit disapppinting to see that I had been sent Bidens "Pirates Treasure" by mistake, and only knew months later when the plants flowered. Hence the reason there is so much of that in the garden, lol!!! Will try again next year, though. Gilli also, way back, suggested Hemerocallis (daylily) "Crimson Pirate". Was delighted to find a fairly local private nursery offering it this year, but was dismayed to learn that their entire stock was lost during that very severe weather we had last winter. :-(( Never mind, will try again. Planning, sourcing the plants, etc., makes winter just rush by. In fact, there are so many suitably-named ones that some have to be left out, mainly because they wouldn't suit growing conditions here, in the garden, or just can't be got in this country.
