Shelf at the Front Door

Shelf at the Front Door

The scented geranium and bonfire begonia are the same color bloom and really show fiercely against the variegated foliage of the dorotheanthus. I've never put anything on this shelf that doesn't come out beautifully. The mildest spot in the garden.

This has been a test if I can load the pics straight on without changing the pic size, and I can! No more special file for GOY resized pics! Major plus about the new format. I feela bit guilty now about the pic size on the server......lol! :-)

Those are scarlet runner beans, a really successful crop this year with all our warmth. You can just see the yellow of the Tropaeolum peregrinum I planted this year with it to change things up a little. I love how the runner bean just fills up this post so quickly.

Hope the beans cropped well for you, I had a great crop this year.

Thank you. It was a good crop. I've always got a place for these as well. Fast growing, bright and easy, all great attributes.
