Blackie didn't produce flowers till late summer, so it's great to enjoy them now...:o)

Yes it is high on my favourites too Tog, the contrast of the colours is startling.
Yep, going to re-pot all ours if they make it through San...we lost such a lot last year.

Hi Jane i'm fine, i just fellout with my laptop for a while, could'nt be bothered to use it at all, but on saying that got loads more things done in the house aswell as gardening, think the internet had taken over part of my life. anyway back now, i kept lancashire lad in my greenhouse when you sent it over, and its doing good so i'm leaving it in there for winter.

Isn't that odd . . . my Blackies flowered all summer, but died at least a month ago! Gorgeous photo.
