Thanks for all the great comments.....I've read them out to her....:o))) She's suddenly put a spurt of growth on and is filling out nicely.....strange thing is she likes apples and bananas more than meat....even chicken???

A vegetarian puppy.....that's a new one on me...lol (or should that be a "fruitetarian"...lol?)

My first adored curry, chinese and apple..not all at once you understand. Funny we were only talking about it today.

These pets are very unique in their diets...lol I can honestly say I've never known a dog that will eat curry...M, memories can give us a smile :)

Lol Tet...it does make for a varied diet...and shouldn't have any trouble with you-know-what!! Not a great curry fan myself only tuna-fish, which we have quite often, I know it sounds yeuk, but it really is tastey.....:o))

Cant eat it now and our second dog didnt like it anyhow..she enjoyed cooked dinners tho! Ahh well, Janey, praps we might get another like Lottie!

Some of these pets sound like they'd enjoy meat and 2 veg for their dinner...lol Sure can tell we like our pets and indulge them. M...are you hoping for another pooch, especially one like Lottie?

Molly loves raw carrot...as soon as I get the grater out of the cupboard shes at my feet looking for a piece! I love Lotties little brown eyebrows!

oh yes Jacquie, we are tempted, but not sure we could cope with training a young dog and have thought about an older rescue dog, but then the heartache comes all too soon..its such a commitment, like children you have to take it seriously. Im sure if we are meant to, one will come along that we simply cannot say no too...

Aww.....it's not always easy as we get older to take on another pet, M....and as you say an older rescue dog may only be with you for a short time and then you are sad to lose them. I guess the fix is to come on GOY and look at all the lovely pooches on here :)

Lol Tetrarch and Whistonlass.....Having Lotts has been an eye opener....she is our 5th dog, but the first puppy, 4 of our previous ones were rescues, and all wonderful friends to us. 2 Golden retrievers, a Field Spaniel and our beloved Spanish bits and pieces terrier Finn who came back to the UK with us and who passed away in March. Like you we thought we wouldn't have another, as losing them is such heartache and you have to think how old you will be when they're old too. Then we saw Lottie with the same eyebrows as Finn, the other pups all spoken for. At 4&1/2 weeks they were already taken from their Mum, and that was that. She has brought us such fun and joy, and is so feisty yet loving....we know Finn would have raised his eyebrows but loved her just the same....:o))

My friend, Anncee who has just joined GOY has a terrier too. I'm sure she'll soon be talking about him. You've had a good fair share of pooches, Janey...and as you say you love them all to bits. Such characters, each and every one.

I'm a cat person but I think I may have mentioned this before...lol But no kitty here for us. Yep, I'm sure I've said this more than once....boring......boring.....lol

Looking forward to meeting Anncee and her doggie Whist, I'm sure she'll love this site as much as we do....:o)

I was always a cat person too Whist....we had them growing up and have only been without one, the first couple of years here. Now we have Poppy and Ted, who are gorgeous and such characters....but not lap-cats.....that's where Lotts comes in....she is smaller than the pusscats and loves sitting on your knee, a little cat-dog! Lol There are lots of pics of the cats on my photo gallery, especially when they were tiny.

Missed you there Karen! Aren't they odd....grated carrot...it is sweet though and Lotts likes all sweet stuff....:o((

Yes you can Tetrarch!!....:o)) She'll enjoy clamboring up your Xmas tree, trying to hide her bone on the top branch....Lol. She is such fun, you can't tell her off, she won't allow it, she rolls on her back and closes her eyes and ears....:o))

btw, dont mind, really! christmas tree is old, we have tiles on the floor (just for dogs) and big covers for the chairs, dog proof garden..all ready and waiting ...
