Mexican Zinnia, Zinnia haageana

Mexican Zinnia, Zinnia haageana

Zinnia from seed that just made it to the garden last so small but still blooming. Nice bright color and small flower size. Some form of this zinnia can be mistaken for marigold without a close look.

Thank you Motinot. I'll be trying them again. I transplanted late and they didn't get very big. Great color though.

Thank you. I'm proud of my seed results this spring. Planted a little earlier out and this would be a nice little bush of these. Next year of course. :-)

Thank you Stickitoffee. Zinnia are very enjoyable from seed, good trusty things.

They came up from seed quickly and did well, I just left them in little plugs too long. They got a bit stunted, though they still bloomed. :-)
