Have had this Shrub for several years, but unfortunately it hasn't grown a lot probably cos I keep moving it about.
It has lovely little bell shaped flowers in Spring but I don't remember seeing it go this lovely colour in the past.
I suppose it must have but maybe it wasn't easy to see in its last spot. Anyone tell me the name, I will know it if I see it but the brain cells are still not what they were!

A Weigela, perhaps?

No, sorry David, it's definitely not Weigelia. It's a finer leaf than that and has lovely little bell flowers hanging off the branches in Spring. I will know the name if I hear it soI'll have to keep thinking! Thanks for your help though!

Thanks Elsie, but no it's not a berberis either. I am so cross with myself for not remembering this one. I will have a look at a gardening site and see if I can spot it. Watch this space!

Well that didn't take long. Just found it on the a-z on here. It's an Enkianthus. Hooray!
