The Kaffir Coral trees are starting to bloom now. This is the most widely grown Coral tree in Southern California...and it's one of the largest...growing to 50ft./15 m. tall and spreading much wider. Photo taken at Paradise Point Resort on Oct. 29, 2010.

There's so many colorful trees and vines which grow along the freeways, streets and medians. A few examples are: Bougainvillea, Jacaranda, Cassia leptophylla, Bauhinia x blakeana, Bauhinia variegata.
