Beautiful!

I'm not very successful at keeping these for long - i gather they actually prefer damp feet, so maybe they'd be happy on the stream bank. I think I might try that and see. I do love them, though.

What a stunning photo Barbara! Such a beauty...mine haven't done too well this last couple of years, I thought maybe it was too shady now, but you say they like damp feet, wonder if they would do well in a pot?

The label said 'sun or part shade'...I'm trying to think where I read about their liking for dampness.

I've just checked in my RHS book, which says the roots should be kept moist. I'm sure I read it elsewhere, too.

Why not try a pot?
