This area has dozens of large blooming Red Anthurium at Quail Botanical Gardens. Photo taken Nov. 2, 2010.

They grow very well in pots, the ground or in trees in semi-shade to shaded areas outsides here. Quail Botanical Gardens had hundreds...they were all blooming too.

It does much better outside in the ground or in a pot than inside the house here. It almost always will get black mites indoors.
