a lovely bit of colour to brighten up the borders! Ive not much flowering now apart from the sedums and violas and a couple of late roses, but have been making a leaf pile at the back of the border and have put the linings from some old baskets there too just in case there is any wildlife in need of a cosy shelter!

Thankyou:-) this usually starts flowering in early October Dawn really late for some reason, another of my Dads plants so don't know variety.
Good idea Carole, haven't seen many ladybirds this year but today they seemed to be everywhere hibernating, even in the old seed heads of delphiniums and hollyhocks so will be leaving them till spring before cutting back :-)
