Thanks all,
Question is, will I be able to save any for next year .....
I am hoping to save some cuttings, but it depends on how cold it gets. Wish me luck!

Your Tom West is a hardy fuchsia...you could plant it in the ground and mulch it well for protection or bring it into a greenhouse for the winter....same with the other one as well (although not a hardy)....If you could provide bottom heat you might be lucky with some cuttings.....

I put all mine in the outside loo lol. They're fine in there.

I lifted some and put them in the greenhouse. Might try a couple in the shed as well for a change. At my fuchsia group, we were shown to take the plants indoors a couple of months ago and then take cuttings from them. I have done this but not sure they will survive in the greenhouse. Its got a heated pad, but I dont put a proper heater on or line it with bubble pack.
Will report back in the spring...

Well, you will not be surprised to learn I didnt manage to save many fuchsias in the greenhouse last winter. But a surprising number of the hardy ones in the garden have recovered well. I did save Tom West in the greenhouse and have taken some cuttings from it.
Will take some pics soon when the fuchsias start to bloom.
