From the street corner, I've place a lilac to grow and mask the house and fuel tank a bit. I've since increased this bed and added a potentilla and artemisia. Next year, a clematis to climb the lilac.

:-) Thank you. You can just see a dark spot to the right too which was a nice Crabapple until the moose ate it down to that little spot. :-/

Idyllic as it looks, I don't envy you because of what you face over the winter!!!
You guys there have my respect, cos I'd have done a runner a long time ago!

Thank you all. I'm very excited to was the new shrubs grow, but won't get the chance if I move. I really can't decide. :-) I'm so content here, even with the cold. We are surely hunkered in now. Just another week or so and the sun wont hit the house again until February. Already very thin.

Until March next spring. Enough time to mull it over I think.

Thanks. I do like the lawn, though I've planted a row of shrubs to make a hedge to the road now too......lol. The area is so much more open with all the clearing done this summer behind the house too. :-)
