Frosty Morning Down at the Pond

Frosty Morning Down at the Pond

This first frost had frozen the pond and raised a mist, silvery reflections bouncing everywhere. Up at the garden, just a few hundred feet, the cold barely touched. Though this was late, it did warm again strangely and wee had another few weeks of fall with seldom a frost again, though the gardens were finished by this.

Thank you all. This is the scene as the cold sets in, though this year it warmed up again for another few weeks after a killing frost. We've been spoiled this year. I think this is January weather over there. :-)

Thank Gilli. I only get a few days of this mist before the moisture in the air is sucked out. I treasure every one, really beautiful.
