lol! my friend suggested mulled wine and fairy lights, and I now have the small chimenea on there as well, so we're all set for a 'grotto evening'!! I even have a bottle of mulled wine from last year!

i cleared up the garden yesterday ~ neednt have bothered ~ its just as bad again today! very windy too

Thanks everyone. The water feature isn't up and running because we are waiting for a part coming from Amazon Mum. The outside plug has been installed and we are waiting for a special low voltage adaptor as there are about four separate plugs to go in...its a bit complicated...he's really a very good OH!! We had to sit in a cold dark house last Friday while he spent his afternoon off drilling and fiddling and screwing in wires etc. It was very dull! I went out shopping. :)) I will do a blog....when it's finished!

Not providing a banquet guys! lol I do a pretty good steak and kidney pie too, Tetra. Usually make it for hubby for his birthday :) I do cheat though and use frozen puff pastry! I bet you make your pastry from scratch eh, Tetra? :)

Sticki...I still haven't made the pudding yet....must get busy and pull my finger out! It's definitely pudding weather with all this wind and rain!

OH loved that pudding ~ it made a huge pud so kept us going for a while ~ i should have put it in a large dish but not especially deep ~ more like a dish you would make lasagne in??

Packet of Mars Bars for Scott then this Christmas didn't realise he was still into those, I cannot remember the last time I had a Mars bar. SAD :o-(
