Prunus triloba and seeded Allysum

Does the P. triloba do well over the winter GT or do you bring it inside?

They do very well here. I planted one in a box and it bloomed in spring but never really grew leaves afterward. This is my try right in the ground. There are many mature ones around town that of course are most noticeable in their pink blooms in spring. Some are in areas much colder than mine. One of the well trusted shrubs around here, though few seem to know about them. I met a few people with big 6-8 foot P triloba in their yards in the flats, where it is considerably colder than my house.

Wow! I didn't realise they were that hardy. They sure are beautiful in the spring.

I love them. I needed something else blooming with that early bergenia. This is the perfect thing.
