thanks it is an unusual one Simbad...
they need a bit of protection in the winter Sandra. mine are in my growshed,...no heat but i can keep them nice and dry.

Are they all hardy if kept on the dry side in a unheated greenhouse overwinter Sandra? really like this one and would like a few more.

i would say yes Simbad....but i always have some fleece or a sleepingbag handy incase it gets real cold...i plant one outside most years..but they dont like it....occasionaly they get through..get bigger...then go to mush when the snow gets them...i am trying one outside in a big pot this year..i have put it up against an overhanging south facing hedge..i hope this will protect it from the north winds...

This has to be my favourite Agave, we grow several, but they are all still babies.
