Starting to thaw here at last, hurray,although probably take till spring for it all to go.

Glad to read you are back.. I was getting ready to send out the search teams with brandy.. and chocolates and mince pies..;o)

Gosh, you've had more snow than us. It snowed here overnight again, but appears to be thawing. I had hoped we'd seen the last of it as I felt it had out stayed its welcome. Glad you came out unscathed:-)

Ours has all gone now Bornagain except for the pond its still covered in really thick ice, have lost a couple of fish but noticed about four more under the ice today:-( don't know what the final loss will be till it all thaws, had quite a few tiny ones that have swum onto the top of the ice where its thawing then got trapped poor things, can't even get the dead ones out.

I only have 3, don't know how they've fared:-(

Strange thing is we have a much smaller pond in the front garden thats only around 2ft deep with 5 fish in and they're all fine, hope yours are ok.

Now I know why I havent seen you for a while...you got buried under all that snow...now why didnt you phone me..we wouldve come up and got you out!

Is the brandy and mince pie offer still up for grabs?
