Lovely and 'woody' Hoya and very tasteful. Makes my back porch look a bit 'bag lady'. I always fancied living in a wooden house. Ever since that grand designs one of the charcoal burner man in a house made from his own woodland. Hope I never hear he got divorced!!!!

The squash seed was from Villandry in France (best garden ever!) That charcoal burner's house was definitely the best of the series - ours is all wood and we built it - but we didn't grow all the trees first!!!!

Visited Villandry many moons ago on a campervan holiday. Wonderful..... is it 'potager'? Aka kitchen garden. We once visited RHS garden at Wisley, on the way back from France. I had a really bad stomach upset and couldn't keep the journey going.I thought a stroll around the garden might settle things a bit. I trailed my hand through some foliage to check if aromatic. I got berated by an officious gardener for 'pinching seeds'. I got angry and threw up over his precious plants.....he fled. I felt better after that. I know you bought a mixed packet Hoya...just reminded me of that tale.
