This is Swift - nominally still a kitten but v, big now. We seem to have 3 black cats now - and can't tell them apart till they're very close! I think she's shrew hunting - the wicked thing!

Most cats are a bit wicked over hunting. I might have shrews in my garden then!!!I have stopped keeping cats, as GJ might trip over one, but that means, with no cat to contend space, Blobby and Calico have commandeered the garden. The only one who makes them vanish is when Spooky the street cat is a 'Guest Presenter' and graces the garden seat for a few days. Usually when there are squirrels about after Hazelnuts. She flew in through the front door last night, when I checked the weather, inspected upstairs to see if I had made the beds.....then left with her cat bag lady banner tail held high aloft.

What's that pussy cat up to? Your cat or a visitor? A dust of snow looks good on your beautifully sculpted conifers/shrubs. Mr Blobby, a fatcat visitor, who takes after his mum, as a keen hunter, visited yesterday and snuffled around like that, and fled with something in his mouth. Calico cat has taught him everything she knows, including putting on weight very quickly!
