Adenium obesum - Desert Rose (Adenium obesum - Desert Rose)

My Desert Rose is starting to bloom again. We've been having some really nice weather... 75F/24C for the last 3 or 4 days...this weekend temps will be going up to 86F/30C in inland San Diego...it will almost be a heat wave here. :>)

Desert Rose blooms young...usually within a year and half from seed. However, it doesn't do a really full bloom for 3 years.

I did! But I think that your noid white Adenium is the star of the show!! Not that this is horrid or anything, but the white is spectacular!

My white Adenium is full of flower buds now...I suspect it will bloom by this weekend...as it suppose to be around 92F/33C here.(it loves hot weather) I'll post pics if it does bloom.

Desert Rose should do very well where you live. It's a pretty tough plant! Yes, most plants in the Apocyanaceae family are poisonous or have a strong toxicity.
