Wow, he's a bit early - hope you gave him a glass of something and a carrot for the reindeer? Happy Christmas to you and yours too :)

Magic dust is all around
that's where Santa Claus is found
He'll soon be up in the air
taking presents everywhere
with his faithful reindeer team
while you sleep and while you dream.

Happy Christmas Paul. Linda Gerry and Twinkle x

Merry christmas Linda....... I've been very busy loading the sleigh and organising the elfs but we should be ok to take to the skies in a week's time!

Good to hear. Don't forget to stop at my place for a mince pie and a glass of sherry Santa. Give my love to Rudolf and the team. x

17 Dec, 2010

Will do....don't forget a carrot or apple for the reindeer. It's hard work for them pulling that heavy sleigh!!!

18 Dec, 2010

Sorry Santa, I won't forget the reindeer team.
Nine of them including Rudolf.

18 Dec, 2010

Yes, that's right! Rudolph came a little later than Dasher,Dancer,Prancer,Vixen,Comet, Cupid, Donder and Blitzen.. But very useful he is with his bright nose!!

18 Dec, 2010

Do you remember how the other reindeer used to tease poor Rudolph and he was very sad until you found that he could light the way for you and the team whilst flying up high among the stars. That made him feel loved and special and the other reindeer love him too now.

18 Dec, 2010

They do indeed. We all, like Rudolph, have something good to offer..even us gardeners in the winter!

Very True Paul and our community spirit comes to the fore when times are tough.

22 Dec, 2010

They've certainly been tough recently round here. Many people have been unable to get out due to the treacherous roads and pavements. The roads are now clear but the pavements still icy and slippery! We've got a few bits of shopping over the last couple of weeks for one of our elderly neighbours! It doesn't cost anything to help and make sure people are ok, does it??

22 Dec, 2010

I knocked on a few doors and asked if folks needed any help and if it was someone elderly I stopped and had a chat for 10 minutes. When they are on their own for a long time that means such a lot.

22 Dec, 2010

Yes, I hate to be indoors all day so it must be awful to not be able to get out for days on end!!!! You're a good neighbour and we try to be.As I said before, it doesn't cost anything , does it??

22 Dec, 2010
