The down pipe on the church gutter was froze up meaning that the melt water from the eaves (churches aren't exactly well insulated) was forming these ice "sculptures" as it trickled down the wall.
The only plant matter under that lot is lichen!

Definitely! I spent about 20mins at six o clock this morning taking these. Trouble was that the flash was creating nasty flares, so I had to keep reshooting until the angle was right. Jack (my dog) was getting bored!!
