Lovely scene, Dawn. Has it all thawed now? We are in the middle of a snow storm here, has been falling since about 5pm. Millie and I should have attended a dogs Christmas party this evening but it was cancelled :(

Lovely picture Dawn, nice to see you back:-), looks the same here, -12 this morning when I took Fudge out.
Our pond is covered in really thick ice too, and last week we had a phone call to ask if we had room for over 20 fish from a local park, the weight of the snow had caved the roof of the greenhouse in were the pond was, piercing the pond liner, so they needed a emergency home, went to fetch them, 5 or 6 huge koi, 1 of which has unfortunately died, sure there'll be a few more casualties, not a good time to be moving them about, but at least they stand a chance now, trouble is our pond was covered in such thick ice, except for a small area we've kept ice free, so then spent half an hour thawing an area with hot water so we could get the monster koi in, they all seem fine have seen them swimming around under the ice, didn't really want koi in the pond as they're terrible for ripping out the plants, but couldn't let them die:-(

Lol Sandra, that little cedrus deodara aint happy, too wet for it I think.
Oh Amy, skating, wow. The cats walk across it constantly as if its ground.
No thaw Gee, but no snow for a couple of weeks.
Hi Kathy, you are a fish saviour, glad they are doing well.
I need fish to rip out weed funnily enough. Would you believe common carp are around £3 each for ones only about 2 inches long, i've been told by a fishery that I need £700 worth to have enough to keep weed down.
