Thank you for your kind comments. They take very little work really . . . re-potting in the Spring (usually), and a little light pruning. A very enjoyable job that I can do sitting down in the garden!

Lovely set of bonsai trees. They are so pretty and don't take up much room. We have a large shallow dish that we place ours into to water them in the summer. We leave them in until the soil is wet them take them out again.

What variety of trees do you have, Linda k? I agree - watering is essential. Mine need a drink every day if it is warm (a bit like me really!).

two large pines that we grew from seed over 30 years ago, Beech, yew, ash, rowan and cherry. The cherry flowers well every spring and produces fruit.

That sounds brilliant, Linda. How big is the cherry bonsai? Blossom is one of my favourite things - it must be magic to see the tiny flowers . . . do you have any photos you could show us?
