21 Jan, 2011

Soooooo lovely! I agree with you San, love steps. I have my little tyme steps of course. Actually, to be honest I'm glad my slope isn't as steep as this, it must have been killing work making it work.

A real killer but fun Karen, this is my gym and I neeeeed to get back to it!!!! I'm hanging on by my fingertips to a size 10 at the mo. This is a main part of my garden so I have to make it work. Btw your geranium is doing very well on there, near the top :-))))
Thanks San, Yorks and Alex

21 Jan, 2011
yes 5/10 and a size 12 ish lol depends where i buy, use to be a 8 as a teen then 10 till i was 40 and now 12 at 51 so cant complain i guess, how tall are you anne?
21 Jan, 2011
5/4 San and size 3/4 shoes plus small shoulders so every pound shows! Ideal weight is 8 1/2 st then I'm a size 8 (my metric is crap..Lol)
21 Jan, 2011

This is pretty Annella :o)
23 Jan, 2011
very pretty, do you get lots of sun on your garden annella? that planting is really lovely.
26 Jan, 2011
In the summer yes, but none at all in the winter Sticki. The bottom garden is in the shadow of the house for months. I'm amazed at how many things will grow here and try new plants every year, one or two things at a time or there could be expensive mistakes. The heavy clay doesn't help in the winter :o))
26 Jan, 2011
i havent got clay or sun; most of the garden is in the shadow of trees behind for most of the year but in the middle of the summer all the garden gets at least some sun.
26 Jan, 2011
I have the same problem with a large old Ash tree just above that border Sticki, It takes the sun from about 4 o'clock in midsummer...beautiful old tree though and it has a preservation order on it
26 Jan, 2011
well ive put your picture on my favourites ~ to remind me that it can be done!! shade or no shade!!
26 Jan, 2011
If you would like any of these plants let me know Sticki....This is north facing too so all hardy little b....rs!!
26 Jan, 2011
thank you annella, i cant get over how kind people are on here!
i still have dead leaves and dying stalks to clear up as well as builders mud but if its ok with you i might come back to you and ask ~ thank you!

28 Jan, 2011

28 Jan, 2011
Here we go...Lulu's AA is starting to take off..
28 Jan, 2011
i think we need a commentry on the picture!?
The artist has used broad colour strokes to highlight the main feature of the picture; notice how the steps naturally lead the eye to .... oh well you cant see it but behind the bush is a table with a carafe and a glass!
28 Jan, 2011
You lost me Lulu's AA? Arty arty!
28 Jan, 2011
OMG be careful my steps are wonky....
28 Jan, 2011
