Incredible colours.

Don't know how old they are but they have always been kept out of the light. They are certainly 50 years old, maybe older. I ask my Dad but he can't remember!!

27 Jan, 2011

Dont hang them in direct sun light then, maybe find a shady nook.

28 Jan, 2011

Nope! stables will be fine for me..or duvet in the car!

28 Jan, 2011

LOL anytime, for sure, we got stables, mankey old mobile home, just make sure you get here first and you may get the bed!

28 Jan, 2011

This one looks Chinese to me. I'm not an expert so I may be wrong but cocks are not as popular/common motif in Japanese art as cranes or phoenixes, although Chinese seem to love them too. The flowers to me looks like peonies. If they were chrysanthemums, the petals would be longer + thinner and curl up at the tips (that's the typical image of chrysanthemums in oriental art), and some leaves would grow from the main stem. Just a thought.

24 Feb, 2011

Thanks for thoughts Tommymoo!! Whatever it is, it's really pretty!

24 Feb, 2011

Yes, that's the point, Lulu!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
