Karen this is one of the Roses I can tell you the date it comes into flower here, June 19th without fail, my birthday!. It's not the original from Wilby but I had to have it again, the scent is amazing. I think this is the one that climbes up Spritz's house too x

Wow, imagine that! Lovely! How long does it flower for though?

About a month Karen but huge smelly blooms, then I cut it back hard. I'm looking at other Roses to go with it this year......because of you hun and your lovely garden x

Ah, thanks! x I think it's beautiful, I love the floppiness of the flower and I can just imagine the lovely scent. I actually need one more rose for my arch, but this one is the wrong colour. It has to go with Crown Princess Margareta, a lovely deep peach coloured rose. I will probably go for a lilac coloured rose as I love lilac with peach, but I'm not entirely sure. I may go for a scarlet as it's at the hot coloured area. Lilac would look lovely with albertine actually would't it...or a deep burgundy colour....mm

Decided! Went on DA roses and chose 'Dortmund'. Couldn't only buy one plant could I? So I also bought warm welcome ...well, it was on sale....and it will look lovely beside photinia! Funnily enough, Albertine is also on sale.....but I didn't buy it!
