Mine does too Allisonbee had my shredder out yesterday, so many borders to clear, try to leave it as late as possible,like to leave seedheads for the birds, but after all the snow everythings just flattened, have left the macleaya as all the stems seem to have overwintering ladybirds in them, don't want to wake them,lol.
Just looked at your website very interesting, remember seeing a programme last year about the decrease in the bee population, quite scary, we have allotments at the bottom of our garden and a gentleman on there started keeping bees a couple of years ago, in the summer the gardens full of them they especially love the eryngiums.
