Ive stepped back a couple of paces to show you the area where the snowdrops are in a shady corner of the garden. hopefully the hostas will be coming up again later this year.

yes the colouring is devon antique slate ~ i think? but the browner dull ones were stones i dug up from around the garden. i tried to make an interesting shape with them to plant around but i didnt have enough rocks and it became too small an area ~ once i had put the hostas in i had to extend it straight away!!
i had made it into a snail shell spiral ~ perhaps not the wisest choice given that it is predominantly for hostas!!!
