Yes, that's it! See, I am getting to know your garden layout..what with the help of google earth an all! After you posted that satellite pic. I went on, but ours is from 2007 so not much going on. Mind you, you can still see that I have borders and plants, unlike my neighbours! I hope they update it soon so I can spy on myself!! lol

The path goes a little way before you come to the steps so some mystery before you see what's beyond. I had them put in in the first month of moving here :o))

I love Google Earth...keep checking it Karen to see if they update. We had people selling ariel shots when we first moved in and I had to buy one that shows me in the garden when I was making the corner seat area by the garage! Only person in the picture x

They would struggle to get a pic that doesn't have you in the garden in the summer time!! I also love Google earthing! I googled my half sisters house last week...i've never seen it before. It looks lovely!

Oh, yes, I see, it's really yellow isn't it. Very nice indeed! Makes a lovely contrast and focal point in the low gowing part of that border.

Do you have to cut it back at all?

I'm very sloooooow! Yes it looks good with all the spring flowers, especially Aubreita

I tidy it up early summer and will cut it right back when I can get out there, any time now I hope

Ours is waterlogged too Annella, its rained nearly all day again today, and they are forcasting much colder weather for next week with frosts at nights. Oh Gosh, not again!!!!

So depressing! I potted some plants up today but had to stay in the garage...wet and windy
