driving back home after the w/end away I saw the catkins on the verge's, welcome sight. Good photo with the dark foliage in the background.

Nice to see the catkins Cinders. We have a distorted hazel and it has tiny red flowers on it as well as the catkins.

Well the little red flowers are the female, and the catkins are the male, and when the wind blows it blows the pollen onto the female flower to pollinate it. So you may get some nuts later in the year Lindak, that would be good wouldnt it.
