Beautiful close-up Amy, they soon bounce back after the bad winter weather don't they, I wondered if mine would be okay again, now it's full of flowers to take us into Spring....:o)

Thanks all .. this is looking better than I thought it would it has taken a while to recover ... I don't think you would buy this one for the scent 6p it's not noticeable but makes up for it with it's pretty flowers at this time of the year ... :o)

I've just compared your photo to one of mine, Amy. Yours is a much softer yellow than mine and the petals seem to overlap more, altogether more delicate.

Funny you should say that Gee ,i've been looking at the picture in my book and it shows 5 petals separate from each other quite different from this .. I've had this for so long that I can't remember anything about it I think there must be different varieties , I will be keeping my eyes open at garden centres to try to pin point the name ....

It's against a wall Dawn , it's partly hidden by a Berberis and a Viburnum bodnantense , I have to give them serious hair cuts now and again .. .......

Must look really nice Amy against your wall.
