Euphorbia abyssinica

Euphorbia abyssinica (Euphorbia abyssinica)

I popped into the botanic gardens this morning.
Another messy shot, but I had to share it as it's the biggest Euphorbia that I've seen.
Native to Ethiopia, Eritrea and Somalia.

Huge !

I have one...probably not in the best spot and in ground. Its too large and heavy to move. I'm not sure what to do with it. 14' or more.

In my ignorance I assume that it would be easy to start a replacement plant from a cutting? You could then put that in a better spot and get rid of your current plant.
Mind you, chopping up a Euphorbia this large would be a challenge if it is as irritating to the skin as other Euphorbia can be.

Thats an idea. I could make a large cutting of it to plant on the side of the house- better suited there. Its tall, but not many branches.
