Thanks all for the kind comments, back to the rain, such a shame and it is so flipping cold, went to the GC and bought some tiny plants to cheer myself up, it worked!!

Wet again, still have managed to tidy up, and check the bulbs are still there (no thanks to squirrels and badgers) so much life to be seen, don't you just love this time of year?

I am in the worst mood ever Dotty! I have hardly woken up at all this week! Keep falling asleep in the afternoons and then feeling grotty for the rest of the day. Just dreadful! Keep thinking back to our week in Tenerife, which seems like eons ago, but wondering how bad I would feel if I didn't have those memories either! Always want to emigrate during Jan and Feb, but this seems worse than ever!!

Oh dear Karen try and stay positive, you have had a shocking winter, perhaps you could sneak a weekend away to cheer yourself up? it cannot go on much longer, we must be over the worst!!

I thought that today too San, but I couldn't get around to doing it! Perhaps tomorrow as it's not going to get any better any time soon! This afternoon though, I was 'chatting with Janey' about gardening books and OH was watching footie on tv (what else?) and I suddenly thought, 'what on earth am I moaning about?' I have friends online, food in the cupboard, warm home AND gardening books! When you think how many people have NONE of these things...honestly, I am so ungrateful sometimes! oh well, quite cheered up now! Thanks though! :) xx

your not ungrateful karen it gets to the best of us, dont pull yourself down, winters are long, football season is long haha, its nice to know we can come on here and chat about what we are going to do in the garden etc, meanwhile make the effort to do yourself that red painting for the kitchen , am i right,a red poppy, huge red poppy lol xx
