I actually bought this from Thompson & Morgan years ago...no wonder its not growing well!

It's a pretty colour, M. I wonder why it is not growing very fast...have you any idea? Are you thinking it was the firm the plant was sourced from?

Im not too impressed with T&M the same as a lot of people, but its probly cos its not happy where it is J. Will move it after its flowered I guess.

This is much slower than Forsythia and all reports I have had confirm that it is not easy to grow well. I think this one is brilliant. Green with envy!

Well I broke a piece of with flowers and it had a couple of thin twigs with tiny little buds on them..they looked almost dead. Ive pushed them in a pot with some buds in the soil and the buds at the top have definitely got bigger and look like they are going to leaf. Whether they survive or not I dont know..we will see.
