Dreaming away :):)

Looks like a dogs adventure playground - no wonder they were tired :)

did you have to steam the floor again when you got them home,

No Yorks, they were locked into the bootroom!! But what a pretty natural pond/lake, they did so enjoy it and they even smell better after their rain water swim! I would take them every day but don't think the ducks would thank me!!
Funnily enough I bought a duck today, it said it was half price and I saw in big letters £3.75, so bought it thinking great value......it was over 6 quid, the 3.75 was what was taken off it, so still expensive!

excuse me but what kind of a duck, plastic or the real thing,

23 Feb, 2011

The eaty kind, a l'orange!!

23 Feb, 2011

if you bought a duck at £3. 75 I think you did well,

But I didn't yorks, that was the amount they took off the damn thing! still over 6 quid! AND I forgot the oranges!!!

23 Feb, 2011

sorry lu I was not reading correctly. in that case it would have been expensive if you had paid full price, you will have to pop out dear for the oranges now, I think at our co-op they charge £6 when they are on offer. oranges oranges don't forget.

Will tangerines do? Not going out again, I've got steaming to do!! walk the dogs, cook for friends (prep for tomorrow!) Dig my fake heron into the ground, etc etc!

23 Feb, 2011

if your cooking duck for friends then you will need oranges, tangerines won't do, to small, the Heron will have to wait, or text david and ask him to pick you up some oranges,

23 Feb, 2011

The Duck is for tonight! Friends will have baked pots, roasted veg, salad and garlic bread!! David works on site!! I will cook 'Duck non l'orange'! Duck in marmalade!

23 Feb, 2011

this duck sounds intresting in marmalade, let me know how it tastes

23 Feb, 2011

Think I will cook the duck tomorrow and have the sea bass tonight! D has informed me he doesent like duck in orange OR marmalade......so it will be duck in something!! Soy sauce probably!
David is now winging that the fish tank filter is making too much noise and he can't watch 'Friends'!! God in heaven, I have a drum kit in my living room!

23 Feb, 2011

why don't you start playing the drums whilst david is watching telly, then he will realise how quiet the fish pump really is,

24 Feb, 2011

I did mention the drums.......OH said he didn't drum ALL the time! Huh! actually filter seems a bit quieter today, must have been the swift kick I gave it!
