This is 'Early Harvest' and it's in flower about three weeks earlier than last year.

It's a similar colour to tulip sprengeri...well, perhaps not as red. I have a dream of having an orchard underplanted with sprengeri....can you just imagine? that's what heaven will be like B!...well, the heavenly orchard anyay...not ALL of heaven because there will obviously be a lot more flowers than that......:))

Yes, that would be nice. I remember a field not far from where Oliveoil lives...where there are red poppies every year amongst the corn...lovely!

Most of my daffs are about an inch up Yorks! only the big early one I posted is out, there are tow or three of them now, I can't believe how early they are! My crocuses are showing colour and would come on no end if we could get just a little bit of sunshine!

I have just seen 4 crocus out in the garden here,our daffs are about the same as yours to Karen

We have fields of poppies here in Norfolk Tet it's called Poppy land ..... we also have fields of Tulips in the Spalding area they have Tulip parades and carnivals Karen .....

lovely day last 2 days here ............ dafs not out yet , but getting there , tulips started popin g up ............ but loads of crocus out every were ............. my idea of heven is bluebell woods , hevenly ;0))))
