I love figs Tommymoo. We have two fig trees on the property...I get a rash from the leaves but no problem eating the fruit.

Ohhh Alexandra, you get a rash from the leaves? Stingy nettles give me the horrific sensation (that's the most terrible thing I've ever experienced!) but not from the fig leaves.. You've got sensitive skin!

I know Calvados made from pears but pear wine? That's new to me. I'd rather eat them!
