Violets...

Thanks... how are yours doing... its been a very wet day today.. but i had to go and get the bin in so had a walk round the soggy garden.... : O ))

weather is the same here, and cold, my violets are doing really well, full of bud but they just won't open,

cold here to....and its coming up a bit misty.... wont be long before yours open...

mine are all outside the back door in a border and I keep going to look but only buds,

mines not far from the back door either.. they seeded themselves there.....

for the life of me I can't remember who sent these to me, I think it could have been dr Bob but I'm not sure

nice when they seed themselves for free arnt they.... you got yours free as well....: O ))

I love Violets but don't have any myself. There's a bungalow very close to the flat that has 100s of Violets just growing in the grass alongside it. They are not in the garden but in a public area that is mown once a week by the council, yet the Violets seem to prosper! They are probably in flower right now but I haven't looked at the patch in months.

We have them in the grass verges as well....
