Perhaps you are a little warmer and more sheltered where you are? A pretty sight never the less. My Grannie called them, soldiers & sailors !

GG, are you sure they aren't even peeking up above ground? Mine are all visible...no flowers yet of course, but if we could just get a little sunshine!....raining here again this morning, but hopeful for tomorrow!

That's very pretty. I hadn't known Blue Ensign like sun - recently bought three, and put them in our shady, "woodland" area! But I'll keep hoping . . .

Its funny isnt it Cristina, the different names that plants are called, through the generations, makes it all the more colourful.

I don't mind what they're called as long as they stay with me! So welcome, being so early. :-)
