Your Pulmonaria is out early Spritz, no sign of mine in the garden yet!

I've got quite a few in flower now, Grandmage. 'Blue Ensign' is often out first. :-)
Thank, Lin. :-)

Perhaps you are a little warmer and more sheltered where you are? A pretty sight never the less. My Grannie called them, soldiers & sailors !

Could be - but London seems ahead, with its own microclimate!

No - I can't remember when it appeared here! My crocuses are all closed up tightly. :-((

Hopefully in the not too distant future we will have at least six months of warmth, blue skies & lots of gardening! Ever the optomist!

GG, are you sure they aren't even peeking up above ground? Mine are all visible...no flowers yet of course, but if we could just get a little sunshine!....raining here again this morning, but hopeful for tomorrow!

I love Blue Ensign. Lovely dark blue...have you noticed the 'smokey blue' one coming up on the right of the page? It looks really nice too!

My grass is sodden & sooooo muddy, cannot get around to do much yet.

Back from Henry's walk - the fields are REALLY soggy - so I'm grateful for our good drainage.
I did see that smokey-blue Pulmonaria, K, but is it seeds?
24 Feb, 2011
Yes, looks like it. We could just wait until we see it in the nursery!
24 Feb, 2011
SIGH...Yes, you're right. :-(

That's very pretty. I hadn't known Blue Ensign like sun - recently bought three, and put them in our shady, "woodland" area! But I'll keep hoping . . .

Lovely selection.

Its funny isnt it Cristina, the different names that plants are called, through the generations, makes it all the more colourful.

I don't mind what they're called as long as they stay with me! So welcome, being so early. :-)
