I have a couple in my flower bed, they are so pretty and such a treat to see each year, must buy more of them.

I think they are special , we have a clump growing in the grass as soon as they flower we have to keep watch for Scarlet Lily Beetle because they devour them at an alarming rate and lay their eggs on the leaves ......

I've heard about those beetles, luckily we only have the black ones here. I call them Alexander Beetles, after the AA Milne poem.....!
