We don't see them here either, Bampy....lucky you T. :) I'm sure they are spoiled by your regular supply of grub! lol Lovely to have them visiting your garden.

Thanks all. They really are shy birds Bampy, but I feel sure they are the same pair that we have had for last couple years (or offspring) as they seem very much at home. I keep an ear out for different bird calls, so I can pretty much tell whats in the garden and what might be close by, thats often how we manage to catch sight of a new bird for us altho the woodpecker didnt make any noise!
