These are a few of the many plants under the shade structure in the front yard. My Silver Lady Fern (Blechnum gibbum) is flushing new fronds now (bottom). The Philodendron 'Brazil' in the far back is growing like crazy. Photo taken March 24, 2011.

I love it too! :>) It's a very commonly grown dwarf fern here (and very cheap). I've had this fern for about 6 years...and it's been moved (dug out of the ground) 3 times. I dug it out of the ground about a year ago (for good)...because it was getting too much sun on the side of the house. It loves the conditions under the shade structure, however, takes up too much room under there.

Stop rubbing it in Delonix...(very cheap).
It's doing extremely well considering you've dug it out and moved it three times. It's gorgeous.....don't even think about getting rid of it.

Well, this Fijian fern is very common here. I purchased this plant for around $1.00. A fern the size I've posted would only coast around $14.00 or maybe just slightly more...it's actually cheaper to buy a larger one. :>)
Here's a few of my other posted pics:

Thank! The fronds are much healthier under the shade structure (out of the sun)....they're almost 2ft/61cm long.
