Our postlady recently knocked on the door, rather than just put the mail through the letterbox, to ask about these cheerful beauties. Like the viola "Nautical Winds", still available at Homebase, £3.50 for 20 - and, no, I am not a Homebase employee! :-D)

Lovely to see so much colour your way after all the awful weather you have had this winter David ,I'm not surprised that the postlady was asking about the beauties they no doubt brightened her day :o)

Thank you, Amy. Our postlady has made me determined to put more potted displays out front, as the season progresses. My very small front garden is totally under very old bark chippings, except for the path from gate to doorstep, and has become the public WC for the local cat population, as I discovered recently, to my detriment. Yuk! This will be easy to remedy, however. :-)

Lots of casualties in the main "pirates" back garden, due to the extra-low temps this past winter, but these can be remedied. :-))

Am just so thankful that snow, ice and dead plants is all that we have had to put up with, compared to elsewhere.

Sorry to hear you lost so much over the winter David, still, these beauties go some way to cheering all of us up!
