lovely. I adore pansies in any colour.

Aren't they the cutest things? they are tough too, I found some still alive and green with blossom on them under a pile of melting snow!!! the gophers don't seem to like them!! hurrah!

More out, smiling now, since we went on our Spring break - great "welcome home" smiles. And, yes, Lori, they are among the toughest plants I know. goog to hear that they can even outwit gophers! (which we don't, of course, have trouble with). :-))

Looks like they will be the biggest challenge in this new place, David. I'm going to plant a whole field of garlic! whether it will grow or not, I can't be sure...but if it deters the little munchers, that's one to the good!
