thanx amy, yes i got it at the plant fair at ness gardens where we met jacquie(whistonlass) and her hubby, it was £12.50 so not a bad price, the lady collects the wood on walks and makes them herself ;o))

It is lovely San....I was pretty much spent up by the time we got to these but I won't be defeated...I'll catch up with the seller at the next plant fair and see what she brings :)
I'll look forward to seeing how you place this in your gravel garden.

thanx jacquie im sure you will end up with one lol so different i thought, im hoping for gravel area but hywel put me off when reading his blog and saying cats use gravel as a toilet :o(( will ponder on this one lol

The advice we were given on the gravel was to use 20mm size as the cats tend to go for the finer stuff, if that helps you to make a decision, San.

thanx jacquie i will remember that, i guess when its fine they can scratch it more easerly, will jot that down so i dont forget ;o)

Lovely San.....OH made me one which is on our alpine sink. We have a grass and gravel area and we don't have any trouble with cats, they just pooh everywhere else instead!!

thanx carol, infact it would be easy to make one if you ever found a log of some kind :o)
28 Mar, 2011
It would make a good reason to take a trip to the seaside or the countryside to have a "seek and find" for a nice log. We were talking about doing that coming home in the car yesterday, San. lol

good idea jacquie, dont seem to get many logs washed up in blackpool but lots of woodlands close by, i will keep my eyes open in future though, hope you find one jacquie and even nicer to have made one yourself :o)
