aww thankyou paul i have to start another one tomorrow but havent had any insperation with my photos, went over and over them. anyway iv chosen to paint my bird bath in summer so lots of flowers to paint, it will be on paper rather than canvas to go in a portfolio as lose painting to sell if it turns out ok that is lol, anyway glad you like the finished result here :o))

thankyou so much jacquie glad you and alec like this one as i feel its my best one to date, i have learned so much with each painting, i will let you know the dates, we have to put at least two canvas painting in and also try to do some paintings for portfolio which are on paper and just with mounts, no frames, so im hoping i can do this in time, think its august, dont worry about us not talking about it, i dont like going on about it boring people lol, think you spelt supercali... blah blah right hahaha :o))

im taking this to appraisel which is at the art society on thursday night, you take your work and the profesionals/critics lol give their opion and advice, luckerly the man who is doing this on thursday is surpose to be a nice man.. very nice man haha, so im ok about taking it :o)

You really do have a talent for this painting lark, San! This is just beautiful, peaceful and relaxing and will look perfect hanging on a wall. I understand how you'd like to sell it,what a satisfying feeling you'd have, but also how you'd like to keep it forever! Your next painting of the birdbath and flowers will keep you busy! Well done. : o ))

thanx shirley, its on the wall so i can make the most of it just incase, just been painting the birdbath one as nothing on tv but light not good now so iv stopped, its not far off being finished either, but not quite right yet, time just flies when im painting ;o))

You are coming along so well San , It's hard to believe you are new to this hobby , I've been looking at Henri Rousseau and can deffinately see the likeness especially with the leaves , excellant , keep up the good work x

thankyou amy, thats where i saw the similarity in the leaves, i cant believe myself when i look what iv done, i honestly havent done any painting before, even at school i remember we had to draw, well try lol and the usual painting shapes but never real art, iv just always enjoyed seeing art and looking at paintings :o) x
